1. How do I learn about open positions at NFA?

2. How do I apply for a position at NFA?

To apply for an open position at NFA,  please email your resume to kwilliams@nfa.futures.org and specify the position and office where you would like your application considered.

3. What happens when I submit my resume? 

Your resume is reviewed and compared to the criteria for the position you have applied.  If you are chosen for an interview, Human Resources will contact you by phone.

4. When will I be contacted about my resume submission?

If your resume is a good match for an open position, you will be contacted regarding a phone or office interview within a few weeks.

5. How long does the process take before a decision has been made?

How long the recruiting process takes depends on the position and how many people have been interviewed. Our goal is to inform you of any decision ASAP so that you are free to continue discussions with other employers you may be considering. Usually, decisions regarding a preferred candidate are made within a few of weeks of the interview, but this is a case-by-case scenario.

7. How many staff and locations does NFA have?

There are approximately 250 individuals in NFA's corporate headquarters located at 300 South Riverside Plaza in Chicago. An additional 35 individuals work in our New York office located at 120 Broadway.

8. Does NFA have job fairs or recruiting events I can attend?

NFA has a comprehensive college recruiting program and has well established relationships with some of the top universities in the United States.  Visit our career page for a listing of college recruiting events.

9. Does NFA offer an internship program?

Currently, NFA's Compliance department offers a summer internship program.  If you are interested in being an intern, please send your resume to kwilliams@nfa.futures.org and specify the office where you would like your application considered.
