In accordance with the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000, NFA and FINRA have adopted proficiency requirements related to security futures products. Any currently registered securities or futures professionals who intend to engage in security futures business must complete a proficiency training program. In an effort to provide a convenient and efficient method for firms to provide their employees with the necessary training, NFA and FINRA, in partnership with the Institute for Financial Markets, have developed this Web-based training program.
Individuals registered only with NFA should access the program through NFA's website, while those who are registered to sell securities should access the training through FINRA's Web site.
Please note that this Security Futures Proficiency Training system will not be available for use Monday through Friday from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. CT. The system may also occasionally be unavailable at other times due to system maintenance.
|Access the training here if you are not a registrant and are taking it for educational purposes only:|
NFA Members can file many of their required documents electronically.
