Department of Treasury Finalizes Rule under Section 311 Against Banco Delta Asia

March 14 - The U.S. Department of Treasury has finalized its rule under Section 311 of the USA PATRIOT Act against Banco Delta Asia. The final rule prohibits U.S. financial institutions from opening or maintaining correspondent accounts for or on behalf of Banco Delta Asia and bars Banco Delta Asia from accessing the U.S. financial system.
