Online Training

To remain eligible to serve as an NFA arbitrator, all NFA arbitrators are required to complete an arbitrator training program at least once every three years. In an effort to provide a convenient and efficient method for arbitrators to satisfy this necessary training, NFA now offers two online training programs to help you satisfy your mandatory training requirement.

An Online Learning Program for NFA Arbitrators

An Online Learning Program for NFA Arbitrators is a Web-based, interactive training program which provides NFA arbitrators with valuable information regarding NFA's arbitration process. After you complete this training program, you will have the option of printing a certificate of completion. In addition, NFA will be automatically notified when you complete the training. This training module may take up to 45 minutes; however, we will also offer you periodic opportunities to save your progress, so you may return at another time to finish the program.

If this is your first time viewing the program, please login below as a New User where you will need to supply your name and email address before entering the program. If you are returning to the program, please login as an Existing User where you will need to enter your email address before entering the program. Please refrain from using your browser's "Back" and "Forward" buttons, while logged into the program. You should use the Back and Next buttons located in the program to navigate between screens. Additionally, please disable your browser’s pop-up blockers before entering the program.

Arbitrator Training Web Seminar

On November 1, 2006 NFA hosted an Arbitrator Training Web Seminar. NFA's Arbitration staff discussed a number of arbitrator-related issues including pre-hearing conferences, conflicts of interests, and recent changes and additions to NFA's Code of Arbitration and Member Rules. As you may know, NFA arbitrators must participate in an arbitration-related training program every three years. If you were unable to view the seminar live, please note that viewing the archived seminar will also satisfy your mandatory training requirement.
