  NFA Mediation: About NFA’s Mediators

Several NFA attorneys are trained mediators and are available to mediate disputes involving customers, NFA Members, NFA Associates and employees of NFA Members. Background information about each mediator follows.

Anne-Marie Kaiser
Anne-Marie Kaiser has worked at National Futures Association since February 1997 principally in enforcement matters. Prior to joining NFA, Ms. Kaiser was a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney where she prosecuted numerous criminal cases and served as legal prosecutor in hearings to transfer juveniles to adult jurisdiction.

Ms. Kaiser received her B.A. degree in government from the University of Notre Dame in 1990, her J.D. degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1993, and a Certificate in Advanced Dispute Resolution from DePaul University in 1999.

Heather A. McDonald
Heather A. McDonald worked at National Futures Association from 1996 until 2001 in the Compliance and Arbitration departments. In 2003, Ms. McDonald returned to NFA where she works principally in arbitration and registration matters. Prior to her return to NFA, Ms. McDonald was an attorney with Bell, Boyd & Lloyd in Chicago working primarily on commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Ms. McDonald received her B.B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 1996, her J.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2002, and a Certificate in Advanced Dispute Resolution from DePaul University in 1999.

Carol A. Wooding
Carol A. Wooding has worked at National Futures Association since March 1991 principally in arbitration and regulatory matters. While attending law school, Ms. Wooding was employed in the Legal Department of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Ms. Wooding received her B.S. degree in accounting from DePaul University in 1984, her J.D. degree from Loyola University School of Law in 1991, and a Certificate in Advanced Dispute Resolution from DePaul University in 1999.
