NFA announces two half-day workshops for NFA Members and futures compliance professionals on Monday, May 19, 2008 in Chicago. The workshops will be held at the UBS Conference Center, located at One North Wacker Drive. The morning workshop will cover all aspects of promotional material rules and regulations, while the afternoon workshop will address small firm regulatory issues and compliance practices. Participants may choose to attend either of the workshops or both.

Arbitrator Training Opportunity - New York Bar Association Arbitration Seminar

"Securities Arbitration and Mediation Hot Topics 2008," an arbitration seminar presented by the CityBar Center for CLE of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and co-sponsored by NFA, will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008. NFA Members and Arbitrators may attend this seminar at a discounted rate of $215 (or $240 for walk-ins). This fee is higher than the registration fee for FINRA arbitrators. Therefore, if you are a FINRA arbitrator, be sure to check that box in order to get the lowest fee.

As a reminder, all NFA arbitrators must attend some form of arbitration training every three years in order to remain eligible to serve as an NFA arbitrator. Attending this seminar will satisfy NFA's mandatory training requirement. You must submit proof of attendance to NFA to obtain credit for the training requirement.
