NFA launches e-mail subscription service in November and electronic version of News,Facts,Actions in January 2005

As reported in the previous issue of this newsletter, NFA will convert News,Facts,Actions to an electronic publication beginning with the Winter 2005 edition, scheduled for distribution in January 2005.

"We decided to move the newsletter to an electronic platform for two reasons," says Larry Dyekman, director of Communications and Education. "First, it will decrease our printing and postage expenses; and second, it will allow us to distribute the newsletter to a wider audience." To facilitate the conversion, NFA will launch an e-mail subscription service. Beginning on November 1, 2004, visitors to NFA's Web site (www.nfa.futures.org) will be able to subscribe to receive a variety of NFA communications simply by providing NFA with their e-mail address. In addition to the newsletter, subscribers can also choose to receive Notices to Members, Member Advisories, press releases, meeting announcements and Web site updates.

"If you are listed with NFA as the Compliance contact for your firm, you are already receiving Notices to Members electronically and will automatically be listed as a subscriber to the newsletter," says Larry Dyekman, director of Communications and Education.. "If you are unsure whether or not you are the Compliance contact, we encourage you to subscribe at our Web site. The subscription system will detect any duplicate e-mail addresses and will send you the newsletter only once."

NFA will continue to post the newsletter on its Web site for those who do not wish to receive it via e-mail. NFA's e-mail subscription service is free, and individuals will be able to unsubscribe from any list(s) at any time.

NFA is the premier independent provider of efficient and innovative regulatory programs that safeguard the integrity of the futures markets.
