Update to WinJammer

NFA has been working with the CME Group to develop a new, web-based version of WinJammer which will allow users to submit statements to NFA, the CFTC and other regulatory agencies with one User Identification agreement. This new form will replace our current PIN agreements. All firms who currently use WinJammer to file their financial statements will be required to submit a new User Identification form request through the new online WinJammer system which NFA will have the authority to approve. This process must be completed prior to using the new WinJammer system to file.

In order to begin this process, your firm will need to designate a security manager who will have complete authority and responsibility to administer user identifications and passwords for the WinJammer system. As such, the security manager should be someone who is familiar with WinJammer. It may be the same person as the signatory or a different person at your firm. Each person at your firm will have their own user id and password for the new online system.

NFA is requesting that your firm provide us with the name, email address and telephone number for the individual you plan on designating as its security manager at winjammerhelp@nfa.futures.org by December 7, 2009. Once this information has been received, your firm will receive additional instructions on how to set up the new Universal PIN agreement and authorized users.

If you have any questions, please contact Brian Rothfuss, Senior Analyst, Compliance, (brothfuss@nfa.futures.org or 312-781-1439) or Melissa Slade, Senior Manager, Compliance (mslade@nfa.futures.org or 312-781-1552).
