NFA bars Commodity Partners Group Corporation and its president
December 22, Chicago - National Futures Association permanently barred Commodity Partners Group Corporation from NFA membership and Roger Curtis Owen from Associate membership. CPGC is a commodity trading advisor Member of NFA located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Owen is the firm's president, sole principal and only associated person.
The Complaint issued by NFA's Business Conduct Committee alleged that CPGC and Owen defrauded and deceived commodity futures customers by sending false monthly statements and that they willfully submitted false and misleading information to NFA. CPGC and Owen submitted settlement offers in which they neither admitted nor denied the allegations against them.
NFA is a congressionally authorized self-regulatory organization for the U.S. futures industry.
