For Immediate Release May 31, 2000 For more information contact: NFA bars Ft. Lauderdale firm and its president May 31, Chicago - National Futures Association barred a firm and its president from reapplying for NFA membership for allegedly using deceptive, unbalanced and misleading promotional material. NFA ordered Futures Trading Group never to reapply for NFA membership and Kerry L. Brewer not to reapply for 30 months. FTG is a former independent introducing broker Member of NFA located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Brewer is the firm's former president. FTG and Brewer submitted a settlement offer in which they neither admitted nor denied the allegations in the Complaint. NFA is a congressionally authorized self-regulatory organization for the U.S. futures industry.
