For Immediate Release October 31, 2000 For more information contact: NFA permanently bars a Michigan CTA October 31, Chicago - NFA accepted a settlement offer in which a Michigan commodity trading advisor agreed to be permanently barred from NFA. The Complaint alleged that John F. O'Herron defrauded commodity futures customers and provided them with false account statements. The Complaint also alleged that he failed to cooperate with NFA in an investigation. O'Herron neither admitted nor denied the allegations in the Complaint. NFA is a congressionally authorized self-regulatory organization for the U.S. futures industry.
