NFA bars Southampton, N.Y. firm Grace Financial Group LLC and its principal Christopher T. Bondy from membership

August 11, Chicago—National Futures Association (NFA) has permanently barred Grace Financial Group LLC (Grace), an NFA Member introducing broker, and Christopher T. Bondy (Bondy), a principal and associated person (AP), from NFA membership.

The Decisions as to Grace and Bondy, issued by NFA's Business Conduct Committee (BCC), are based on a Complaint authorized by the BCC on May 28, 2015, and settlement offers submitted by Grace and Bondy. The Complaint alleged that Grace failed to keep accurate financial records, failed to maintain the required minimum adjusted net capital, and willfully provided NFA with false and misleading information. In addition, the Complaint alleged that Brian Villante, the firm's chief executive officer, should have been registered as an AP of Grace but was not. The BCC found that Bondy failed to diligently supervise Grace's activities.

The complete text of the Complaint and Decisions as to Grace and Bondy can be viewed on NFA's website.
