Arbitrator Training

In order to remain eligible to serve, all NFA arbitrators are required to complete an arbitrator training program every three years. In an effort to provide a convenient and efficient method for arbitrators to satisfy this requirement, NFA now offers an online training program. The program is broken up into modules, and completing any one of the modules satisfies your requirement for three years. While you are not required to complete the modules in any particular order, NFA suggests that you start with An Online Learning Program for NFA Arbitrators since it provides a comprehensive overview of our forum.

An Online Learning Program for NFA Arbitrators is a Web-based, interactive training program which provides NFA arbitrators with valuable information regarding NFA's arbitration process. This training module may take up to 45 minutes; however, we will also offer you periodic opportunities to save your progress, so you may return at another time to finish the program.

What to Expect During a Pre-Hearing Conference Call is a Web-based, interactive training program for NFA Arbitrators regarding pre-hearing conference calls. This training module may take up to 15 minutes. However, we will also offer you periodic opportunities to save your progress, so you may return at another time to finish the program. This program is designed as a supplement of "An Online Learning Program for NFA Arbitrators". If you have not taken that program yet, we encourage you to please do so before taking this one.

Your Role as an NFA Arbitration Chairperson is NFA's newest training program that provides NFA arbitrators with valuable information regarding the duties and responsibilities of a chairperson. After you complete this training program, you will have the option of printing a certificate of completion. In addition, NFA will be automatically notified when you complete the training. This training module may take up to 25 minutes. However, we will also offer you periodic opportunities to save your progress, so you may return at another time to finish the program.
