To use ORS, FBs and individual FTs will need to establish a security account with NFA and designate themselves as the Security Manager. You will be able to establish and maintain security accounts for the security level of View. A user that has the security level of View may only look at information in ORS. To establish a user security account, you will enter the name and some identifying information about the user, e.g., social security number and date of birth, and assign the security level of View for the user.
ORS will assign a User Name and temporary password for each user you establish, and the first time the user logs in, ORS will prompt him/her to change their password.
You will administer all of your own user security accounts. For example, if the user forgets his/her password, you can reset it or if a user leaves the firm, you must delete the user's account.
If you are locked out of ORS or have forgotten your password you may reset your own password online by clicking here to use the Security Manager Password Reset Process.
