Chapter 3. Membership and Association with a Member

BYLAW 305. REGISTRATION RULES.

[Adopted effective July 28, 1983. Subject to Articles III and XI and Bylaw 1506, the Board shall adopt Registration Rules in accordance with which NFA shall perform the portion of the registration functions under the Act which it is required or authorized by the Commission to perform pursuant to Section 8a(10) or Section 17(o) of the Act and in accordance with which NFA shall determine proficiency for purposes of determining fitness to be registered under the Act (except with respect to floor brokers and floor traders) and for purposes of determining membership qualification under Bylaw 301(d), which rules shall be deemed a part of these Bylaws.
