NFA's success depends on our ability to attract, develop and retain high quality staff and to foster a culture in which people have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow. To support this mission we offer a comprehensive package that includes compensation, benefits and your work environment.
Compensation
NFA is committed to providing a total compensation package that is both market competitive and fair. NFA's compensation system is based on the employee's contribution to NFA's mission, values and goals. We measure that contribution by reviewing the salary range for the job and the individual's performance. Our cash compensation package consists of base salary and a potential bonus. A performace bonus may be awarded for excellent or outstanding performance during the entire year.
Benefits
NFA offers a highly competitive Flexible Benefits plan that allows employees to choose a benefits package that best suits their needs. NFA provides employees with a sum of money to purchase their benefits plan, which is designed to accommodate the diverse needs of NFA's employees.
The flexible benefits plan includes:
- Medical Insurance
- Dental Insurance
- Life Insurance
- Dependent Life Insurance
- Long-Term Disability Insurance
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
- Sick/Personal Days
- Vacation Days
- Pre-Tax Spending Accounts (Health and Dependent Care)
Employee Retirement Savings Plan
NFA offers an Employee Retirement Savings Plan ("ERSP") to help employees reach their retirement goals. There are two components to the ERSP. First, NFA matches, dollar-for-dollar, employee contributions up to six percent of the employee's salary. Employees can also contribute additional amounts subject to IRS code limits. Second, NFA makes a discretionary contribution in an amount determined by its Board of Directors. The range may be from zero to five percent. If employees contribute at least six percent of their salary, they could receive an additional 11 percent in deferred compensation, the six percent match and the potential five percent contribution from NFA. NFA's match and contributions are subject to vesting requirements.
Work Environment
NFA is an equal opportunity employer, committed to the strength of a diverse workforce. We offer training and career development opportunities. In addition, NFA offers programs and resources to help employees balance their commitment to meeting the needs of our organization with their personal, family and community responsibilities.
