When Lisa first began her NFA career, she was given the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues on improving a critical system. She quickly learned that NFA's management has an open-door policy, which provided her with the opportunity to collaborate with other employees, further develop her interpersonal skills, and improve her technical skills. Additionally, Lisa appreciates NFA's excellent work/life balance, which has allowed her the flexibility to work remotely on her projects.

September – Hired as an Applications Developer

November – Promoted to Senior Applications Developer

2008

July – Joined implementation team for a system that allows firms to enter and transmit notice filings and other financial statements
May – Received a Master's degree in information systems from DePaul University, utilizing NFA's Tuition Reimbursement Program

2012

July – Joined implementation team for enhancing a quarterly reporting system
July – Promoted to Projects Manager, Applications

2014

May – Promoted to Manager, Information Systems

2017

July – Began serving as department Content Manager for NFA's intranet system

2018

February – Promoted to Associate Director, Information Systems

2019

January – Began leading the system implementation team for NFA's Swaps Proficiency Requirements

2021

January – Promoted to Director, Information Systems
