When you join NFA as a Professional Development Intern, you'll join a team of expert educators dedicated to providing a wide range of learning and development experiences to all NFA staff.

Specifically, you will play a critical role in helping the Office of Professional Development (OPD) team introduce staff to NFA's brand-new learning experience platform (LXP), LinkedIn Learning Hub.

What you'll do:

As a Professional Development Intern, you'll play a critical role in helping our team create new learning experiences for NFA staff and support our existing learning and development initiatives. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing innovative ways to increase staff engagement with the LXP.
  • Curating content for learning pathways for new and existing learners in the LXP.
  • Providing administrative support to maintain the LXP.
  • Tailoring NFA's evolving suite of learner-centered courses for relevancy by applying best practices and adult learning trends.
  • Collaborating with senior OPD staff, subject matter experts and other stakeholders to perform organizational needs analyses for employee development purposes.
  • Designing and delivering live training courses to NFA's examination staff.

  • Recently graduated or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in a field related to human resources, industrial psychology, learning and development or a similar field of study
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills: you communicate clearly and with a purpose
  • A strong sense of accountability and project management skills
  • Natural curiosity: you love learning how things work and you are always looking for innovative improvements
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail

This position requires that you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the date of hire. Proof of vaccination will be required as a condition of employment.
