NFA permanently bars associate of California futures firm

December 12, Chicago - National Futures Association has permanently barred Brent D. Buchholz, an associate Member of NFA, from NFA membership. Buchholz was employed by Roslex Corporation, an Introducing Broker in Anaheim, California. The Decision, issued by NFA's Business Conduct Committee, is based on the charges contained in an NFA Complaint filed against Buchholz in September 2005.

The NFA Complaint charged that in July 2003 Buchholz made deceptive and misleading statements during his solicitation of a customer. Subsequently, from July through November of 2003, Buchholz exercised discretion over the customer's account without written authority. The customer's account was traded in an aggressive manner, suffered significant losses and generated high commissions for Buchholz.

The complete text of the Complaint can be found on NFA's Web site (www.nfa.futures.org).
