NFA permanently bars Mitchell B. Goldberg, a former associated person of Protrade Futures & Options and Corporate Commodities, Inc.

March 13, Chicago - National Futures Association (NFA) has permanently barred from NFA membership, Mitchell B. Goldberg, a former associated person (AP) of Protrade Futures & Options (Protrade) and Corporate Commodities, Inc. (CCI). Protrade and CCI were former Introducing Brokers (IBs) located in Aventura and Pembroke Pines, Florida, respectively. The Decision, issued by NFA's Hearing Panel, is based on a Complaint filed in August 2006, and a settlement offer submitted by Goldberg.

The Complaint charged that Goldberg made misleading and deceptive statements, and used a high-pressured approach when soliciting customers.

NFA issued several Decisions for a number of Protrade and CCI's APs and principals in December 2006 and February 2007. NFA permanently barred Protrade and CCI from NFA membership in February 2007. See previous press release.
