NFA permanently bars Adam Leon, a former associated person of Protrade Futures & Options

May 7, Chicago - National Futures Association (NFA) has permanently barred from NFA membership Adam Leon, a former associated person (AP) of Protrade Futures & Options (Protrade). Protrade is a former Introducing Broker located in Aventura, Florida. The Decision, issued by NFA's Business Conduct Committee, is based on an NFA Complaint filed in August 2006.

The Committee found that Leon made misleading and deceptive statements and used a high-pressure approach in the solicitations of customers.

This Decision concludes the Complaint brought against a number of Protrade's APs and principals whom participated in sales practice fraud in their commodity futures activities. See previous press release.
