National Futures Association announces organizational restructuring

January 27, Chicago - NFA President Robert Wilmouth today announced an organizational restructuring "to prepare NFA for the futures industry of the 21st Century." Effective February 1, General Counsel Daniel Roth and Compliance Vice President Daniel Driscoll will be promoted to Executive Vice Presidents. Roth will also serve as Chief Operating Officer of the organization and Driscoll will function as Chief Compliance Officer.

Other promotions include Kenneth Haase, Senior Vice President of Information Systems; Jean Tippins, Senior Vice President of Administration and Karen Wuertz, Senior Vice President of Long-Range Planning.

"This is a time of unprecedented change within the futures industry and new opportunities for NFA," said Wilmouth. "In order to capitalize on these opportunities, we needed to make some revisions to the existing management structure."

In addition to internal promotions, NFA has hired Yvonne Downs as a Senior Vice President. Downs, who previously headed the Chicago Board of Trade's Office of Investigations and Audits for over twelve years, will be responsible for trade practice and market surveillance activities.

NFA's new management structure was approved by its Executive Committee on January 20 and will be presented to its Board of Directors at a meeting scheduled for February 17.
