NFA bars two former APs of American Financial Group Services, Inc.

February 18, Chicago - National Futures Association barred two individuals from NFA membership for allegedly making deceptive and misleading sales solicitations. NFA barred Alan Mawhinney and Peter Stroumbas from membership for six months and ordered them to tape record all of their conversations with customers for one year in the event that they become NFA Members again. Mawhinney and Stroumbas are both former associated persons of American Financial Group Services, Inc., a former guaranteed introducing broker located in Jupiter, Florida. Mawhinney and Stroumbas submitted settlement offers in which they neither admitted nor denied the allegations against them.

NFA is a congressionally authorized self-regulatory organization for the U.S. futures industry.
