Re: National Futures Association: Resubmission of Proposed Adoption of NFA Compliance Rule 2-36

Dear Ms. Webb:

National Futures Association ("NFA") hereby withdraws its May 24, 2001 submission of the proposed adoption of NFA Compliance Rule 2-36, and, pursuant to Section 17(j) of the Commodity Exchange Act (as amended), hereby resubmits it for review and approval by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC" or "Commission"). The proposed adoption of NFA Compliance Rule 2-36 as contained herein was approved by NFA's Board of Directors ("Board") on August 16, 2001.

Proposed Amendments to NFA Compliance Rule 2-36

Explanation of Proposed Amendments

NFA respectfully requests that the Commission review and approve the adoption of proposed NFA Compliance Rule 2-36. NFA also requests that the rule be declared effective upon Commission approval.
