NFA bars a Florida introducing broker and its APs
August 23, Chicago - NFA permanently barred a Florida introducing broker, Century Trading Group, and ordered several of its associated persons (APs) not to reapply for NFA membership for 30 months. Century Trading, located in Tamarac, Florida, Jeffrey F. Backoff, Martin Sommers and Ralph R. Guertin, the APs of the firm, submitted a settlement offer in which they neither admitted nor denied the allegations in the Complaint.
NFA is a congressionally authorized self-regulatory organization for the U.S. futures industry.
