For Immediate Release October 03, 2000 For more information contact: NFA bars a former AP of World Capital Brokerage Services October 3, Chicago - NFA accepted a settlement offer in which a former associated person (AP) of World Capital Brokerage Services, an introducing broker Member of NFA located in Tampa, Florida, agreed to be permanently barred from NFA. The Complaint alleged that Michael J. Konkel defrauded customers and converted money in connection with his commodity futures business. Konkel is also alleged to have provided false information to NFA and failed to cooperate in an NFA investigation. Konkel neither admitted nor denied the allegations in the Complaint. NFA is a congressionally authorized self-regulatory organization for the U.S. futures industry.
