What you'll do:
As a Summer Risk Intern, you'll join a high-performing data risk analytics team whose main goals are to support the examination of swap dealers, assist the Models Team, and build out a data analytics program through the collection, analysis and reporting of data related to swap dealer activities and risks. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing data to convey potential risks and concerns.
- Collaborating with other team members to effectively analyze and present data.
- Assisting in creating summaries, presentations, and process documents to display results.
- Assisting in developing systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projects.

- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in economics, data science, math, or a related major, and expects to graduate within one year of internship
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Some knowledge of VBA/SQL/Python/Tableau
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in NFA's New York office full-time (beginning June 2023)
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data
The wage for the position is $22 per hour.
