ORS: New Individual Application Process

On Monday, September 18, 2017, NFA will launch an updated individual application process in its Online Registration System (ORS) as the second deliverable of a multi-year, multi-phase rebuild of the system.

ORS is one of NFA's largest and most critical applications, which allows firms and individuals to apply for CFTC registration and NFA membership. To guide each phase of the rebuild and enhance user experience, NFA collected feedback from various user groups, most notably NFA Members.

The first deliverable, the NFA Dashboard, was launched last year.

The current and second deliverable, the updated individual application process, includes additional help text, streamlines navigation, modernizes design, and incorporates a new electronic disclosure matter processing system.

In order to implement the new individual application process, all incomplete or new individual applications should be completed as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00 p.m. CT on Friday, September 15. After that time, any individual applications not completed will be deleted.

This system implementation will not affect any completed individual applications.

To help firms understand the functionality of the new individual application process, NFA will hold a short webinar on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. CT/11:30 a.m. ET. There is no charge to attend the webinar; however, registration is required.

Register for the webinar.

An archived version of the webinar and a transcript will be available on NFA's website in late September.

If you have questions, please contact NFA's Information Center (312-781-1410 or 800-621-3570 or information@nfa.futures.org).
