NFA bars former First Commercial Financial Group, Inc. AP

October 27, Chicago - National Futures Association ordered John A. Hermanson never to reapply for NFA membership. Hermanson is a former associated person (AP) of First Commercial Financial Group, Inc., a former futures commission merchant Member of NFA located in Chicago, Illinois. Hermanson submitted a settlement offer in which he neither admitted nor denied the allegations in the Complaint.

The Complaint alleged that Hermanson, First Commercial and Mark E. Rehn, a former AP of First Commercial, failed to uphold high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade in that they engaged in fraudulent end-of-month cash transfers in order to disguise deficiencies in First Commercial's adjusted net capital.

NFA is a congressionally authorized self-regulatory organization for the U.S. futures industry.
