NFA permanently bars Georgia Commodity Pool Operator, Renaissance Asset Management
September 20, Chicago - National Futures Association (NFA) has permanently barred Renaissance Asset Management (Renaissance), a Commodity Pool Operator and Commodity Trading Advisor located in Roswell, Georgia, from NFA membership. The Decision, issued by NFA's Business Conduct Committee, is based on a Complaint filed in June 2007.
The Committee found that Renaissance provided false information to NFA, made fraudulent and deceptive statements to clients, failed to register its chief executive officer as an associated person, and accepted funds in the name of the firm rather than the name of the pool.
NFA is the premier independent provider of innovative and efficient regulatory programs that safeguard the integrity of the derivatives markets.
